Ryu hopes to ‘leave no regrets’ in German stint

Heading to a top-flight German club for a one-year stint, South Korean footballer Ryu Seung-woo said Monday he hopes to “leave no regrets.”Ryu’s South Korean club, Jeju United, announced Friday that it will loan the 19-year-old to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga for one year. Jeju United of South Korea’s top division soccer league said Friday it will send Ryu Seung-woo to Bundesliga’s Bayer Leverkusen for one year on a loan. “We decided to send Ryu Seung-woo to Leverkusen in order to promote his growth as a player,” the club said on Ryu’s loan to the German club.
