South Korean stocks closed lower Thursday, down for the third consecutive day, as auto and steel stocks retreated. The Korean won declined against the US dollar.The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index shed 5.7 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 2,406.5.
