Universal Ballet Company’s principal dancers Kang Mi-sun and Konstantin Novoselov tied the knot on Sunday at L.luce Wedding Convention in Seoul, nearly five months after their public engagement in December.

According to Universal Ballet, the two dancers have been dating for the last six years. Kang joined the troupe in 2002, while Russian-born Novoselov joined the company in 2004. Both were promoted to principals in 2012.

Novoselov surprised Kang and the 1,000-member audience on Dec. 28, by proposing to her as he and Kang took their bows after playing the leads in “The Nutcracker.”

Kang and Novoselov will perform the leading roles in UBC’s upcoming performance “Giselle,” which is scheduled to be held from June 13-17 at Seoul Arts Center in Seoul.
