추성훈이 KBS 2TV ’슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다‘에 출연하게 된 이유가 아내 야노시호 때문이었다고 밝혔다.
12월 12일 방송된 ’해피투게더 3‘에서 이휘재는 “야노시호가 일본에서 큰 인기를 끌고 있는 톱모델” 이라고 했다. 이어 “추성훈이 이 프로그램에 출연한다고 했을 때 야노 시호의 소속사에서는 반대했다고 들었다. 하지만 추성훈에게 도움이 된다는 제작진의 말에 야노 시호가 적극 추천해 출연을 결정했다”고 전했다.
이날 ‘슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다 특집’으로 이휘재, 추성훈, 장현성, 타블로가 출연했다.

Choo reveals how he joined ‘Superman is Back’ with his daughter
Korean-Japanese fighter Choo Sung-hoon said his wife Shiho Yano had encouraged him to appear on “Superman is Back,” a segment of a South Korean variety TV show that has become wildly popular.
Yano’s agency was originally opposed to the idea of featuring the Choo family on a Korean program. Yano is one of the top models in Japan, and it is assumed that the Japanese agency did not want something to happen to undermine her image because of the show.
But Yano asked Choo to consider the proposal positively after one of the Korean crew members explained to her that joining the program would give a huge boost to his career.
Thanks to his wife’s support, Choo went on to star in the program with his two-year-old daughter, Choo Sa-rang, and the show has become a huge hit in South Korea.
Choo revealed this fact in a separate KBS2 TV show, which drew keen attention from Korean netizens on Friday.
