The expo plans to display various electric vehicles and batteries, providing an environment for automakers and the public to share their vision related to EVs.

Those attending the event also include Renault Samsung, BMW, BYD, Samsung SDI, Daelim Motors and Detroit Electric.

“This year’s expo may include a new event called the EV CEO Summit, a conference for chief executives and officials from carmakers and other relevant companies,” a PR official said. Although details of the summit have not been disclosed, its focus will likely be to share ideas on the trends and future of electric vehicles.
