TRC Korea helps firms settle in Russia

Russia is one of the most difficult markets to penetrate due to its unique business environment, prioritizing trust among partners over work, verbal promise than contract, and price over quality.

TRC Korea has been supporting firms which hope to introduce their products and services and gain ground in what seems to be an impervious market for 12 years.

As patience and constant efforts are important in doing business in Russia, Kang Nam-young, president of the consulting firm, emphasizes the importance of a challenging spirit.

“Never, ever give up,” said Kang in a press statement. “I firmly believe from my own business experience in Moscow that creating a positive business partnership in the nation which bears enormous potential is not just a daydream, but something that can come true.”

The Seoul-based consulting firm, which also operates in the Commonwealth of Independent States, conducts basic market research, sales support and localization of products and services.

The firm set up its Russian affiliate in 2002, and has maintained partnerships with local consulting firms and government business support agencies, such as F&F Consulting Ltd. in Russia, and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Seoul.
