The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has summoned an official at the Korean Embassy in Bangkok accused of sexually harassing a Korean professor.
According to a local report on Friday, the diplomat allegedly intimidated the professor with unwanted physical harassment several times during their meetings to discuss Korean language education there.
The ministry is investigating the incident. “If the report is confirmed to be true, we will take a stern action, based on the zero-tolerance principle,” the ministry said.
