South Korean cosmetics brand TonyMoly said Monday it has begun selling its products at all Sephora stores in Europe, becoming the first homegrown brand to do so.
It held a launch ceremony at Sephora’s main store on the iconic Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris on May 13 and 14, with the aim of introducing its products to local beauty shoppers.

“TonyMoly offers unique products at affordable prices and is increasingly garnering the attention of young European females in their 20s and 30s,” vice president of Sephora Europe Lylian Vignau said in a statement.
Thirty-five products by TonyMoly are now available at the 825 Sephora stores in 14 European countries including France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Greece.
Sephora is a France-based global beauty and cosmetics store chain owned by LVMH Moet-Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
Though other Korean cosmetics brands have entered Sephora stores in Europe in the past, TonyMoly is the first to seal a unilateral deal with Sephora Europe.
