Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (000810) reported on June 30 that in May it posted sales of 1.5 trillion won, with 119.9 billion (US$103.5 million) in operating profit and 94.5 billion won net profit. The monthly sales was a 5.9 percent increase from the same period last year and the profits increased by 6.5 percent and 7.9 percent, respectively.
