Dongbu Hitek (000990) is seeking for a preferred bidder to sell off Dongbu Steel Structure and wants to pull out from the business, the company announced on June 30 but did not provide any specifics, in response to Korea Exchange’s inquiry regarding media reports saying Hitek will sell its stake in its steel affiliate.
