LG International (001120) reported on July 27 that its second-quarter operating profit came in at 56.3 billion won (US$49.64 million), jumping 86 percent from the same period last year.
Sales fell 11.2 percent to 2.85 trillion won while net profit surged 380.1 percent to 30.6 billion won.
