Samsung Card (029780) announced on Aug. 31 that it has decided to acquire 5.79 million shares of its own, worth 253.6 billion won (US$226.43 million) through a tender offer to stabilize stock prices and promote values.
The acquisition period is between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30.
