Samsung C&T (028260) announced on Oct. 27 that it will sell its entire 14,539,350 shares of Cheil Worldwide to its affiliate Samsung Electronics at 267.52 billion won (US$234.88 million) in an after-hours block deal.
The deal “is to improve balance and to secure funds for improvement,” said the company.
