Exports of Korean-made diagnostic kits for COVID-19 radically surged this year, reaching a total of over $797 million (about 940.5 billion won) by Aug. 20, data from the Korea Customs Service showed.
While the exact data has not been released yet, the amount is expected to have surpassed 1 trillion won at the end of August.
