From the biggest cities to the smallest of towns, Australians have gathered to remember the Anzacs and all those who followed to make the ultimate sacrifice for this country. For many, the day ended reminiscing about friends and relatives long gone, spinning the odd yarn, and having a once-a-year punt on two-up. As always, the day began with a sombre early morning reflection.
