Seoul stocks rebound on easing virus woes, stabilizing currency market

South Korean stocks rebounded Tuesday on easing concerns about the new coronavirus and the volatility in the currency market. The Korean won rose against the US dollar. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 22.36 points, or 0.74 percent, to close at 3,029.04 points.
