미국 시애틀의 대학에서 화장실을 쓰던 여대생이 갑자기 한 남성이 난데없이 눈앞에 떨어지는 황당한 경험을 했다.여대생 조이 에스틸은 2일(현지시간) 신원을 알 수 없는 한 남성이 천정을 뚫고 나타났다고 전했다.처음 남자가 나타났을 때 에스틸은 그가 천정에서 일하고 있던 사람이라고 생각하고 ‘도와드릴까요?’라고 물었다고 현지언론에 밝혔다. 그러나 그녀는 곧 남자가 평상복을 입고 있다는 사실을 깨닫고 경비원이 와서 그에게 수갑을 채울 때까지 다른 학생들과 힘을 합해 그를 꼼짝 못하게 잡아두었다. 에스틸은 남자가 손에 일회용 카메라를 들고 있는 것을 보고 몰래 화장실 촬영을 하려고 했다는 추측을 했다. 그러나 경찰은 그가 이전에 한 패스트푸드 식당의 잠겨있는 화장실에 들어가려다가 들킨 후 도주 중이었다고 밝혔다.
