The package is ready to welcome guests in with pleasant surprises and intriguing themes, including W-style Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve parties hosted by top-class DJs from Korea and around the world.
This year’s “Winter Package” at W Seoul-Walkerhill allows guests to tailor their vacations to fit their tastes. The package is priced at 314,000 won (excluding VAT and service charge). It will be available from Dec. 1 to Feb. 29, with the exceptions of Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
All aboard the Hilton Christmas train
It is that time of year again – and to help spread Christmas spirit and Yuletide joy to everyone in Seoul, the Millennium Seoul Hilton will unveil its “Christmas Tree” and “Christmas Train” this weekend.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of this holiday tradition.
For the last two decades, the grand 10-meter Christmas Tree has been placed in the center of the main lobby to welcome guests to the Millennium Seoul Hilton every year.
In the lower lobby, designers and engineers recreated a miniature village of the Alps, complete with snow-capped mountains, tunnels, wooden bridges and hot air balloons.
The highlight, of course, for both children and adults who are young at heart, is the Christmas Train, a collection of around 75 exquisitely handcrafted locomotives and railroad cars that will chug their way through the little village.
The Christmas display will remain up for viewing until Jan. 17.
For additional information, call Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Christmas Office at (02) 317-3012.

The Reverie Saigon opens in heart of Ho Chi Minh
The Reverie Saigon, a 286-room hotel with spectacular views and an unabashedly opulent atmosphere, has opened in the heart of downtown Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Seven years in the making, the most posh urban hotel to debut in Vietnam seeks to redefine the luxury landscape across the country, setting new benchmarks in culinary appeal with restaurants that have designs on Michelin stars and a spa that is as visually stunning as it is ultimately restorative.
“In a destination as exotic and far-flung as Saigon, there’s often the expectation to design a hotel that very obviously references the destination’s heritage,” said Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, the Austrian general manager.
“This hotel, however, is a transcendent gesture. We’re fast-forwarding to the day when Saigon takes its rightful place as one of Asia’s leading cities, when upscale travelers will expect the very best attainable – not merely the very best in Vietnam, but the very best anywhere.”
The Reverie Saigon is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. For more information, visit
