SM artists to appear on Korea-China collaborated show

South Korea and China have joined forces once more to create an entertainment program on a Chinese channel, mainly featuring SM Entertainment artists, the management agency said on Tuesday.

According to Chinese news reports, on the variety show program “Zui qiang tian tuan”, meaning “The Best Crew on Earth”, f(x)’s Victoria, Super Junior-M’s Zhou Mi, Korean talk-show host Jun Hyun-moo and popular Chinese celebrity Peng Yu will host.

On the first episode of “Zui qiang tian tuan,” members of Super Junior -- Siwon, Kangin, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyuk -- are to appear as guests. The experienced K-pop singers jollily filmed on Tuesday supporting their fellow SM Entertainment artists.

Girls’ Generation is also to appear on the international show as guests on the second episode.

“It is the first time for all nine members of Girls’ Generation to appear on a Chinese program together ever since they debuted,” an SM official said, highlighting the significance of their advent.

Meanwhile, the Chinese channel, Jiangsu TV, production company of “Zui qiang tian tuan” and broadcaster for the show had previous success with hallyu show “Dai ni kan xing xing” -- a collaboration with another Korean management company, Keyeast Entertainment -- that ended in May.
