Park to head Academic Society of Business Administration

Park Heung-soo, professor of marketing at Yonsei University, will be inaugurated as chairman of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration in a ceremony at LG-POSCO Hall of Korea University in Seoul on Friday.

Park graduated from the college of business administration of Yonsei University, and acquired an MBA from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. in management from the University of Pittsburgh before joining the Yonsei faculty in 1988.

Established in 1956, the society is one of the nation’s largest academic groups, with about 7,000 members.
