Seoul Players to perform ‘The Shape of Things’

Seoul Players will perform Neil LaBute’s “The Shape of Things” for two weekends starting Saturday.

Directed by O.J. Ryan, the play follows a shy undergraduate student who is inexperienced in love and falls in love with a smart, sexy art graduate student.

But their love affair takes a turn as the woman he loves begins to manipulate him, while he finds himself willing to do anything to please her.

The situation becomes more and more extreme until it reaches a climax that raises questions about art, intimacy and love.

Rae Dohar, Paul Feldmann, Emily Schell and Za’chary Westbrook will perform in the play at Camarata Music Studio in Haebangchon, on Saturday and Sunday and on Dec. 1 and 2.

All shows start at 8 p.m. Tickets are 15,000 at the door or by reservation via ticketing@seoulplayers.com.
