Asian fans have their eyes on K-pop sensation EXO’s next steps after the idol group successfully wrapped up its first solo concert series from May 23-25 in Seoul.

The EXO members will continue both their group and individual activities at home and abroad to expand their fan base that has been limited to teenage girls.

D.O. plans to make a debut as an actor by playing a supporting role in the drama “It’s Okay, That‘s Love,” slated to be aired from July. The drama, written by one of the hit script writers No Hee-kyung, will also feature top actor Jo In-sung and actress Gong Hyo-jin.

Baekhyun will showcase his singing skills in the upcoming musical “Singing in the Rain” alongside Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, and several other musical acts. The musical is set to open on June 5 and run until Aug. 8 at Seoul Chungmu Art Hall.

EXO-K‘s leader Suho is hosting a music program “Inkigayo” and appearing in TV reality shows “Law of the Jungle” and “Roommate” as a core guest.

Chinese member Lu Han joined the cast of the Chinese film tentatively named “Mid-Twenties,” the remake of Korean film “Miss Granny.” Lu Han will be playing the grandson of the female lead.

Other members, who were allegedly offered roles in the forthcoming movies and dramas, are adjusting their schedules to take part. The details have yet to be disclosed.

As a group, the K-pop boy band will ramp up efforts to promote its new album “Overdose” by embarking on a concert tour around Asia. EXO will soon head to Hong Kong for two solo concerts on June 1-2.

EXO has recently been mired in controversy as one of its Chinese members Kris filed a lawsuit on May 15 against SM Entertainment to end his contract, accusing the nation’s largest talent agency of exploitation and unfair treatment.

Kris’ whereabouts are still unclear, and there is still no sign of compromise between the two parties.
