The World Architecture Awards, held three times a year since 2008, are divided into three competition categories: Realized Award, Designed Award and Student Award. In each category, honorary members and previous winners select 10 winners, and community members select five winners.
The Sincheon-ri House was in the Realized Award category. It was selected by both the honorary judges and community members.
The awards are given to projects considered to have the potential to inspire exciting questions about contemporary architectural discourse.
