Gwangju International Center is organizing a community art project in collaboration with the Gwangju Biennale from August to November.
The GIC is asking the local community to help collect postcards from around the world. These can either be sent, in any language, from friends and family overseas, in any language, directly to the GIC, or brought in person to the GIC office.
The project aims to show the diverse global community living in Gwangju and also how the Gwangju community is connected to the world.
The mailing address for the GIC is Gwangju International Center, Jeon-il Building 5th Fl., Geumnam-no 1ga, Dong-gu, Gwangju, 501-758, South Korea.
You can also bring postcards you have received previously.
Postcards should arrive by Aug. 26. They will be exhibited until November at the GIC.
