South Korean pop group Girls’ Generation released its long-awaited new album on online music services worldwide on Tuesday.

“Mr.Mr.,” the fourth EP album from the group, was put on iTunes and local music services such as Melon and Naver Music at 5 p.m. The six tracks include the title track by famous American music production duo “The Underdogs.”

After officially releasing the album in record stores on Thursday, the band plans to resume local broadcasting activities with cable TV network Mnet’s music program “M!Countdown” on March 6, according to its management agency, S.M. Entertainment.

It marks the first album to be put out by the group since “I Got a Boy” in January.

The group originally planned to release the album on online music services last week but had to postpone it as footage for the video of the album’s title track was accidentally deleted in the pre-production process.

“We’re going to unveil the video later because we’re still working on it,” a S.M. official said, requesting not to be named.

“We also plan to launch a global promotion upon the release of the new album.” (Yonhap)
