A wax figure of Korean actor Lee Min-ho is on display alongside those of other world-famous celebrities at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in Hong Kong.
The lifelike figure wears a black suit and a bowtie, both exclusively designed by his personal stylist, according to the museum.
The wax creation was recently rented from Madame Tussauds Shanghai and will be on display in Hong Kong until March 31.
“We believe that this gleaming star will become a highlight for Madame Tussauds Hong Kong in the coming months ― a celebration of his recent award-winning performance,” announced Kelly Mak, the general manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
Lee Min-ho swept five awards including the Best Male Actor Award for mid-length drama at the 2013 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in the recently aired Korean drama “The Heirs” as the lead male character, Kim Tan.
Lee rose to stardom through his lead role as Gu Jun-pyo in the hit Korean drama series “Boys over Flowers” in 2009 and subsequently built his popularity with the action drama “City Hunter” in 2011. “The Heirs” is the latest addition to his acting portfolio.
