South Korean rapper Psy will attend a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Tuesday where his compatriot, Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin, will take the mound against the Colorado Rockies, the rapper’s agency said.
YG Entertainment said that Psy, whose latest single chases the success of his global megahit “Gangnam Style,” will watch the game at the L.A.’s Dodger Stadium at 7 p.m. local time.
This is the first time the sun-glassed South Korean will attend a Dodgers game since August 2012, when he surprised spectators with an impromptu performance of his signature horse-riding dance.
Psy announced his visit in mid-April when the rookie pitcher tweeted Psy’s “Gentleman” video along with a comment that said his colleagues were “going nuts” watching it.
The video of Ryu performing Psy’s horse-riding dance also appeared on the official website of Major League Baseball in early April. (Yonhap News)
