South Korea's pop sensation Psy will perform at a Christmas concert to be held in Washington that U.S. President Barack Obama is set to attend, his agency said Friday.
The 34-year-old rapper, whose song "Gangnam Style" has swept the globe, plans to do a special performance at the close of the concert called "Christmas in Washington 2012" to be held on Dec. 21, according to U.S. cable channel TNT, host of the concert.
The concert, which marks its 31st anniversary this year, is attended each year by dignitaries including the U.S. president and first lady, TNT said.
Psy's music video for "Gangnam Style" ranked first on YouTube's all-time list of most-viewed videos on Saturday, beating out Canadian singer Justin Bieber's "Baby."
Psy's agency said that the concert will close with his performance, but it is not certain whether he will perform his signature horse-riding dance in front of President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
"But chances are high that he will do so," the agency added.
