Mercedes-Benz Korea said Thursday that it has delivered its new EQC to the model’s first customer in South Korea. The vehicle, launched here Oct. 22, is the German carmaker’s first full electric vehicle under the EQ brand.
The delivery ceremony at the EQ Future Pavilion in Seoul’s Sinsa-dong was attended by Lee Sang-kuk, vice president of sales at Mercedes-Benz Korea, and Mark Raine, the company’s vice president of products and marketing.

They delivered the new EQC to the customer along with a voucher for accommodations at the Lotte Signiel Hotel to celebrate the special occasion.
“We hope that a greater number of customers are able to enjoy the new EQC, which embodies ‘Electric Intelligence’ by Mercedes-Benz along with numerous promotional benefits,” said Lee.
According to the company, the new EQC represents the German carmaker’s blueprint for the future of driving and also showcases the exclusive brand value of the Mercedes-Benz in the full electric vehicle segment.
“Mercedes-Benz Korea will continue to build a diverse lineup of premium future mobility for Korean customers by launching various electrified models,” said Mark Raine.
According to the automaker, the company offers promotional benefits for all new EQC customers who purchase the vehicle by year-end, including charging service support.
