Designers and architects who have been educated in the Netherlands will host an exhibition of their work in Seoul next week, Holland’s education support office in Korea said Thursday.
According to Nuffic Neso Korea, “Dutch Creative Code” will feature works by Dutch-educated designers and architects.
Willemijn van Os, the director of Nuffic Neso Korea, said she hoped to promote the competence and creativity of Dutch design and architecture through this exhibition. She also expressed the hope that the event will spark a constant exchange of design and culture between Korea and the Netherlands.
The exhibition will be cohosted by Nuffic Neso and Holland Alumni Network Korea, and will be held at Gana Art Gallery in Insa-dong, central Seoul, from April 17-21.
A total of 19 designers who have studied in Dutch colleges with prestigious design and architecture programs ― such as Delft University of Technology, Berlage Institute and Design Academy Eindhoven ― will participate in the exhibition.
Students looking to study design or architecture in the Netherlands can acquire information related to the colleges at the exhibition.
Visiting hours are between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and no admission fees have been set for the event.
