Twice entered Billboard 100 at No. 83 with its first English-language single, “The Feels,” according to the newest tally from the publication that became available on Monday in the US.

This is the first time the female band hit the chart although its 10th EP, “Taste of Love,” ranked No. 6 on Billboard 200. Twice became the fourth K-pop band to make it on the singles chart, after Wonder Girls, BTS and Blackpink.

The single positioned itself as No. 10 and No. 12 on Billboard Global Excl. US and Billboard Global 200, respectively, both career highs for the group. It also was No. 5 on Billboard’s digital song sales chart.

For the first time as well, Twice came in at No. 80 on the Official Singles Chart in the UK.

The girl group will put out its third full album, “Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” next month.

Young K of DAY6 bid fans farewell on Tuesday before he was due to start his military service.

He went on live via the band’s V Live channel on his way to the training camp. Assuring fans that he is very healthy and had a seafood dinner feast the previous night, he promised he would take good care of himself and continue to stay healthy. “I will have a good time,” said the musician with a smile.

“Most of all, I really want you to stay well ... I will miss you a lot,” he said, especially as he had been meeting fans almost every night through his radio show.

Taking off his baseball cap to show his short haircut, he said the hairstyle is quite convenient to maintain. Despite his departure, the band member said he is not sad, and he did his best in accomplishing the production and release of his solo debut last month before his enlistment.

Wrapping up the livestream, which over 80,000 fans from around the world tuned into, he sang Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me.”

Rookie girl group Tri.be held an online showcase on Tuesday to introduce its first EP, “Veni Vidi Vici.”

The band debuted in February with the single album “Tri.be Da Loca” and dropped their digital single, “Conmigo,” in May.

“So far we’ve been showing strong and powerful performances and are happy to have a chance to present different aspects through this album,” they said.

Now in their eighth month, they are feeling more professional and enjoying their appearances in variety shows and music programs rather than being too nervous. And with an EP, they get to show more sides of themselves through a variety of tracks.

“We’ve challenged ourselves for a range of concepts and demanding performances,” said the bandmates, adding that they are not setting any limits to their growth.

The seven-member act is ready to take on any challenge -- the EP’s title, “Veni Vidi Vici,” comes from Julius Caesar’s famous quote that means “I came, I saw, I conquered” -- and their goal is for the title track to place among the top five on music charts.
