Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it has begun its London Olympics promotion campaign.
The promotion campaign sponsored by Samsung Electronics, which is the event’s official mobile telecom sponsor, will be held under the theme “Everyone’s Olympic Games.”
The company also began the process of selecting the runners for the torch relay. Samsung Electronics plans to select young people from around the world who have moving personal histories.

The company is sponsoring the torch relay, and will select 1,360 of the 8,000 runners who will bear the torch on a 70-day trip around the United Kingdom after the torch arrives from Greece on May 18, 2012.
As the first runner, 18-year-old Gabrielle Roseje was selected at the event marking the beginning of Samsung Electronics’ promotion campaign.
According to the company, Roseje provides coaching for sports for children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Along with the first runner for the relay, Samsung Electronics revealed the visual identity SOVIS that will be applied to the campaign, and the “Samsung Mobile Explorer” program in which experiences of participants will be relayed through blogs.
