A human rights conference is to be held in Seoul on May 14.
Eight scholars in the field are to speak at The Global and National Diffusion of Human Rights conference organized by the SSK Human Rights Forum.
The event will be held at the Korea University International Studies Hall from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Topics will include human rights institutions’ international humanitarianism, mass media and the public’s approach to human rights, as well as case studies of human rights and social movements in Korea.
The event marks the 10th anniversary of Korea University’s Division of International Studies, which is sponsoring the event along with the National Research Foundation of Korea and Human Asia.
