Yunho, one half of K-pop idol duo TVXQ, will enter military service this year, his label SM Entertainment told media Friday.
His exact enlistment date is yet to be confirmed.

The announcement came after a Japanese media outlet, the Sankei Shimbun, reported Friday that the 30-year-old singer’s enlistment was approaching. He is reported to have cried at a recent Tokyo Dome concert and said he won’t be able to perform at concerts for a while.
The news also reported that the 28-year-old Changmin of the duo will have to enter military service as well.
The duo finished a tour of Japan with concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo on April 1 and 2, after touring cities including Osaka and Nagoya.
