지난주 BBC Earth 유튜브에 올라온 이 영상은 파타고니아 독거미의 짝짓기 과정을 보여주고 있다.

교미의 순간이 영상에 고스란히 담겼다. 암컷이 있는 땅굴에 접근한 수컷이 다리를 흔들면 암컷이 화답한다.
암컷의 경우 평균수명이 무려 30년에 달하는 것으로 보고됐다.
