The Australia-Korea Foundation’s next funding round will begin in February for the 2011―2012 financial year.
The Foundation explained that project proposals from individuals or organizations must demonstrate the ability to achieve the AKF’s goals in line with its Strategic Plan.
Those include projects commencing between Aug. 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 with activities completed by Sept. 30, 2012.
Topics include increased public awareness of Australia in South Korea and the importance of the bilateral relationship and development of partnerships in areas of key interest to both countries.
Funding priority will be given to projects which have an identified Korean partner and seek to strengthen Australia’s bilateral relationship with Korea in one or more of the following categories: Year of Friendship 2011; Collaboration on Green Technologies, Environment and Climate Change Issues; Public Diplomacy; Media and Advocacy; Youth and Capacity Building for the Future.
