The star of tvN series “Misaeng (Incomplete Life)” will play the role of Han sang-ryul, a military officer who commands his unit with excellent leadership while suppressing agony inflicted by the war. Set in the midst of the 1950-1953 Korean War, the movie is a heart-warming story about a children’s choir which Sang-ryul happens to get involved with.
“I can’t think of anyone else apart from Yim. I think he is the best fit for the movie. I have utmost confidence that he will pull off his role,” said the director.
Yim, who debuted as a member of K-pop boy band ZE:A in 2010, has starred in box office hits and hot TV dramas such as “Attorney” and “Misaeng.”
