JYP's music video shows Conan O’Brien

Park Jin-young, singer and CEO of JYP Entertainment, released “Still Alive,” a digital single Sunday.

The single includes “Still Alive” and “Fire” -- which has garnered attention with its music video starring American comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien.

“Fire,” which is set to be released Wednesday, is an uplifting ’80s funky rock tune.

Korean-American actor Steven Yeun, known for American horror series “Walking Dead,” and O’Brien make cameo appearances in the music video -- with the three performing O’Brien’s signature “string dance” together.

O’Brien was in Korea in February on a five-day trip to shoot his “Conan” show, and it was reported that he was working on a secret project with Park.

The lead song “Still Alive,” written by Park and inspired by actor Ha Jung-woo’s famous line in the 2012 film “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time,” demonstrates the singer’s perpetual enthusiasm with its uplifting rhythm and melody, tracing his singing and dancing career from his debut to “Who’s Your Mama?” which slayed the charts last year.

Meanwhile, Park premiered “Still Alive” on season five of SBS music competition show “K-pop Star” on Sunday, where he serves as one of the judges.
