K-pop boy band Beast is working on a new album to be released this summer.
The group recorded the lead song of its upcoming album on Tuesday, according to a local report quoting an industry insider. The lead song is written by Yong Jun-hyung of the group, who produces the band’s albums.

The upcoming album is their first as a five-member group after Jang Hyun-seung left to pursue a solo career. It is also the first album since their eighth mini album “Ordinary” was released last July.
Though the group is already in the process of recording songs, it will take several months to complete the recording of all tracks as well as to film the music video.
Meanwhile, Yong, who released a project single “After This Moment,” is holding his first solo concert “Yong Jun-hyung -- 1st Mini Live” at the Hanatour V Hall, Mapo-gu, at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on May 6. The group is also scheduled to tour Japan in June.
