K-pop boy band Infinite’s Nam Woo-hyun released his first solo mini album “Write..” at midnight on Sunday, with the lead song “Nodding” ranking high on online music charts immediately after its release, according to the singer’s agency Woollim Entertainment.
Other tracks of the mini album -- “Write..,” “Gravity,” “That Person,” “Scent,” and “Stand by Me” -- also ranked high on the music charts, according to the agency.
The mini album is Nam’s first solo album since the singer debuted as a member of the K-pop boy band Infinite in 2010. Nam also participated in writing the tracks “Scent,” “Gravity,” and “Stand by Me,” demonstrating his ability as singer-songwriter.

The lead song, composed by J. Yoon of Korean rock band M.C The Max and written by popular lyricist Kim Ea-na, depicts the sad story of a man waiting for a lover who has left him.
The music video released on the same day is directed by Hwang Soo-ah, and the singer stars as the male lead in it.
Meanwhile, Nam was scheduled to hold his first showcase at Yes24 Live Hall on Monday night. The showcase was also to broadcast on the Naver V app in real time.
