The Beach Boys to hold first Korea concert at Conrad Seoul

Iconic 1960s American rock band the Beach Boys will hold a concert at Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom on March 21.

Titled “An intimate evening at Conrad Seoul; featuring America’s iconic band, The Beach Boys,” the band’s first ever performance in Korea will offer a special opportunity to experience the Beach Boys’ performance from right in front of the stage, Conrad Seoul said in a press release.

A legendary rock band known for surf music, including hits “Surfin’,” “Surfin’ U.S.A” and “Surfer Girl,” the Beach Boys have been associated with summer fun for more than 50 years, since debuting with the single “Surfin’” in 1961.

Led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston and joined by Scott Totten, Jeffrey Foskett, Brian Eichenberger, Tim Bonhomme and Jon Cowsill, the group will perform an array of their past hits.

Tickets range from 195,000 won ($161) to 245,000 won, and can be reserved at www.interpark.co.kr from 2 p.m. Tuesday. A special package including a buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant and VIP seats can be reserved at www.conradseoul-shoppingzone.com for 345,000 won.
