“I didn’t want to have a gap (during the service period) so I prepared a lot for a month prior to entering the service,” Kim told fans on Saturday during his fan meeting concert, titled “The Beginning of the End,” held at Hwajung Gymnasium of Korea University in Seoul. It was his last concert before his military service.
“One year and nine months can feel like a long period, but it will pass by quickly,” said the 29-year-old singer. “So I won’t cry today but say a farewell with a smile.”
During the concert, Kim performed number of popular tracks from his first album released in 2013 and some new songs, including “Good Morning Night” and “Breathing.”
