Shin Ji-yai wins RACV Ladies Masters in Australia

South Korea's Shin Ji-yai won the Australian RACV Ladies Masters after shooting a 4-under 69 for a three-stroke victory Sunday at Royal Pines Resort.

Shin sealed the victory with a 14-under total of 278, edging out England's Holly Clyburn who shot an 11-under total of 281 at the Ladies European Tour event in Cold Coast.

The victory made Shin the second South Korean to win the Australian Ladies Masters after Yang Hee-young's triumph in 2006.

Shin was the British Open champ in 2008 and 2012 and has won 11 LPGA Tours and 21 LPGA of Korea Tours.

She will next compete in the Japanese LPGA Tour which opens on March 3.

South Korea's amateur Choi Hye-jin and Lee So-young each tied for fifth place and the 11th spot in the Ladies Masters. (Yonhap)
