Computer vaccine firm serving Defense Ministry hacked: police

A software company providing computer vaccines to the Defense Ministry has been hacked, police said Wednesday.

The computer of a worker at Hauri, a company that provides vaccine programs to computer servers at the National Defense Ministry, was found to have been hacked, an official from the National Police Agency said.

"While probing a separate case, documents which seemed to have been leaked from Hauri were found," the official added.

The leaked documents included a bid proposal for vaccines submitted to the ministry.

Police initially informed the ministry of the case in April, the official said, adding, "We are still investigating to find the suspects." (Yonhap)
