During her visit on Tuesday, Kang will meet her UAE counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the third ministerial "strategic dialogue" over a range of issues, including cooperation on furthering their "special strategic partnership."
The two countries held strategic dialogue between their top diplomats in March 2012 in Seoul and in September 2016 in New York.
"I am looking forward to visiting the UAE next week," Kang told Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company who doubles as the minister of state, during their talks in Seoul.
"The frequent high-level visits between the two sides well demonstrate the bilateral relationship that has been getting closer," she added. (Yonhap)
