South Korean rapper Psy on Sunday returned home and said he is ready to unveil his much-awaited follow-up to “Gangnam Style.”

“I’m done with preparations for a new song and am torn between two songs,” Psy told reporters upon flying into Gimpo International Airport in Seoul from Malaysia.

“One gives an impression similar to ‘Gangnam Style’ and the other gives a completely different impression. I’m now thinking about which one would be better between a very similar one and a different one,” Psy said, adding that he has already created dance moves for both songs.

Psy previously said he will unveil a follow-up single on April 13 and celebrate it with a huge concert at a soccer stadium in Seoul the same day. But local media reports have said he is considering releasing the song in South Korea one day before the schedule as a token of thanks to his Korean fans.

The original plan was to unveil the two songs at the same time, the singer said, but added he decided to release one of them first after discussions with his U.S. business partners.

The rapper, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, has gained global fame since the video of “Gangnam Style” made a big splash in July, becoming the most-viewed YouTube clip.

But he didn’t seem to be under too much pressure to continue the success of the mega-hit song.

“When I read news articles about me, I always read attached online comments, too. There were many fans who worried more than me as to whether I will succeed or not,” Psy said. “Actually, what I have done so far is a miracle in itself.” (Yonhap News)
