French Chamber to run 2012 Gala

The French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold its annual gala for the French-Korean business community Saturday.

The event has become a must-attend event for about 800 business figures from both nations every year.

It is an exceptional opportunity to network and build relationships,” said an official at FKCCI through a statement.

This year’s event will be held in partnership with Chamonix Mont-Blanc, and the most enchanted winter village scene will be reproduced at venue, the official said.

A lineup of selected numbers from representative French musicals will be performed, ranging from the tragic love stories of “Notre Dame de Paris” to the futuristic “Starmania.” Local TV personality Ida Daussy will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The event will be held on Dec. 1 from 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel.

A part of the proceeds from the gala will be donated to the charity group Community Chest of Korea.
