BoA to hold first solo concert in Korea

BoA, singer and judge of audition program “K-Pop Star Season 2,” will be holding her first solo concert in Korea, her management agency S.M. Entertainment said on Tuesday.

“BoA will hold her first solo concert ‘BoA Special Live 2013 ― Here I Am’ at the Olympic Hall of Seoul Olympic Park on Jan. 26,” S.M. Entertainment said in a press release.

The concert will be the popular singer’s first solo concert in Korea since her debut in 2000. The 26-year-old recently released her seventh album, “Only One,” in July to a positive reaction from local fans.

BoA proved her live performance prowess in a number of Arena tour concerts in Japan where she is celebrated as an international star.

Tickets will be available via Korean online store G-Market starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 20.
