지난 90년대 군에서 시로 승격한 충남 보령. 이전의 대천시가 웅천 등과 통합한 보령시는 국내 인지도가 나날이 올랐다.

또 서해안시대 여는 데 한몫 톡톡히 담당한 도시. 외국인 방문객도 많아 활기 넘치는 이곳의 지난 여름은 더욱 뜨거웠다.

전국노래자랑 참가자들 때문이다.

올해 서른 갓 넘은 김소희씨도 거들었다. 보령 편은 지난 7월 초 방영된 바 있다.

한 네티즌은 “어느 남학생 무리가 김씨의 무대에 유독 더 환호했다”며 “풀어헤친 교복에서 해변의 낭만이 묻어난다”고 평했다.
