인천은 백제의 땅에서 미추홀이라 불렸다. 또 이를 점령한 신라는 소성현이라 명명한 바 있다.

막걸리 ‘소성주’로도 유명한 인천에 올여름 미추홀구가 탄생했다.

그리고 12일 방영된 전국노래자랑 인천 미추홀 편. 국내 세 번째로 큰 도시 시민들의 면모가 드러났다.

연수동에 산다는 20대 참가자 강승연씨도 그랬다. 선곡한 ‘찔레꽃’에 더해 주현미의 ‘신사동 그사람’까지 앵콜곡을 선보인 그의 인기가 급등 중이다.

강씨는 이 자리를 빌려 조모에게 감사인사를 올리기도 했다.
